AkzoNobel improves online ordering for powder coatings customers

AkzoNobel’s Performance Coatings business has launched a new webshop which makes it quicker and easier for customers to buy its Interpon and Resicoat powder coatings products online.

The new Interpon webshop features the latest e-commerce software and superior functionality, allowing customers to find, order and pay for products simply and more efficiently.

“We built the webshop from the user’s perspective,” explained Jim Clark, Market Segment Manager for AkzoNobel’s Powder Coatings business. “The functionality is particularly impressive, enabling customers to quickly and easily search for the products they need in a number of different ways, before ordering from stock for shipment the next business day.”

The online tool is designed to suit all customers, whether they are new to powder coatings or more experienced. Added Clark: “We expect the webshop to increase the level of satisfaction for existing customers, while also allowing us to tap into new markets and gain new customers.”

Commenting on the Interpon webshop, Mike Blair from metal finishing firm Surtech Industries, said: “It’s very user-friendly, easy to navigate and contains an abundance of information. I especially like the ease of placing orders.”
